Alex Hakes is a Marine Master Technician at Brinson Marine, bringing advanced technical expertise and a strong educational background to the service team. He attended SUNY Cobleskill, where he earned an Associate degree in Diesel Machinery followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Equipment Technology, building a strong foundation in mechanical systems and diagnostics.

Alex is Mercury outboard certified through Mercury’s Marine Technical Service Education program and is also a Mercury Certified Product Knowledge Expert in both outboards and MerCruiser systems. He is forklift and first aid certified, and his extensive training and in depth product knowledge allow him to diagnose, service, and repair complex marine systems with precision while delivering reliable, expert level service to Brinson Marine customers.
